About Us

The great coach besides Kapil Dev, also bestowed his coaching and guidance to the legendary Indian spin ace Harbhajan Singh, the mercurial fast bowler and former Indian selector Chetan Sharma, sensational Yograj Singh, gutsy Ashok Malhotra, Venugopal Rao and T Kumaran who all represented Indian Cricket team. Apart from these legends, he also coached more than 250 first class cricketers which itself is a Bradmanesque record in terms of cricket coaching. No wonder, he was the first cricket coach in India whowas given the highest award for coaching i.e., the Dronacharya Award in 1986.

Besides being a great coach, D.P. Azad  himself was a fine cricketer who made his first-class debut for Southern Punjab at the tender age of 15 years under the captaincy of Maharaja Yadvindra Singh of Patiala in whose honour, the new PCA Stadium of Mullanpur is named.

Myself, the younger son of this cricketing giant, represented India U-19 and Punjab in first class cricket, always wanted to do something to carry forward the legacy of my revered father. So with the blessings of my parents, legendary Kapil Dev and the motivation and the push given by my wife and children, I started this business venture in the name of my father.
